The owners, Jerriel Stephens and his wife Shirley began the business in 1998. Our store was on the corner of Oakwood Avenue and Jordan Lane.  This is where we called home for (15) fifteen years. We began with only a few employees, Jerriel his wife, Shirley and one other employee as well as a full time Master Jeweler. We opened as Super Pawn and provided short term loans on anything of value, from tools to electronics, cd’s, and of course jewelry.

In 2009 Mr. and Mrs. Stephens was looking toward retirement and their son, Greg Cornelius came in part time to assist them and to learn the business. After (2) years Mr. Stephens and Greg decided to restructure the business. Greg sold his company and began working full time at the store. He and Mr. Stephens liquidated all inventory apart from jewelry. Our loans were limited to precious metal and precious gems only, to include previously owned Rolex’s.  In 2012 Walmart made an offer on our property at 4210 Oakwood Avenue. We accepted, moved to our current location 3782 University Dr. Mrs. Stephens retired in 2010 and Mr. Stephens retired shortly thereafter in 2012. Greg assumed ownership in 2012.

Today, our loans are still limited to precious metals and gems. This allows us to better serve our customers. We buy jewelry as well as scrap precious metal and we sell new and previously loved jewelry as well as antique jewelry. You can rest assured when you purchase a previously loved item from us it is in better than new condition. Our full time Master Jeweler does a complete restoration on all our items. When the jeweler restores a piece, it is all hand restored, where most jewelry purchased new from a vendor is machine created and as we all know machines have their own challenges. Our previously owned Rolex’s are serviced by an authorized Rolex company and come with a (18) eighteen-month warranty. Our staff now includes (8) eight employees and one full time Master Jeweler. Our customers are our number one priority. You can always expect someone at the door to greet you. The associate that will be assisting you are fully trained and instructed by experts. We have two GIA Graduate Gemologists with one more who will complete their courses this year and receive their Graduate Gemologist degrees. The other employees are trained by expert jewelers and attend at least one jewelry seminar a year for training. We want to assure that you have the best possible experience and visit when you come to see us. We will offer you something to drink and a snack. Our little people receive balloons and candy, if mom and dad say it’s ok. We have comfortable lounge areas for both our adult guest and our children. We also provide private offices for selling or obtaining loans on your items.
